1. What this is

This website is the companion to the Knox Accord, a private, invite-based Project Zomboid (Build 41) roleplay server. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and a member of the Knox Accord Discord server. Access to the site and the server is a privilege extended by staff, not a right; staff may decline or withdraw it.

3. Your account

You sign in with Discord and are responsible for everything done under your account. One person, one account. Do not share your login, impersonate another person, or create accounts to evade a ban.

4. Community standards

The Accord is a serious, character-first roleplay community. You agree to follow the server’s roleplay rules and its 18+ conduct standards. Harassment, hate speech, bigotry, sexual content involving minors, doxxing or sharing others’ personal information, threats, cheating, exploiting, and out-of-character hostility are prohibited on the site and the server. Roleplayed conflict is never an excuse for real hostility toward another player.

5. Content you submit

You keep ownership of the character writing and portrait you submit. By submitting them you grant the Accord a non-exclusive, revocable license to store them and to display only the fields you designate as public on the public site, for as long as the character is part of the community. You confirm that any image you upload is yours to use and is not sexual, hateful, or a depiction of a real person without their consent. Staff may remove or edit content that breaks these Terms.

6. Character applications and approval

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. Staff review each one for fit and may request changes or decline it. Anything published from an approved character is a public invitation to roleplay; it is not a claim to in-game territory, loot, structures, or mechanical advantage.

7. Landmark charters

An approved charter is a public, character-bound commitment to operate a place for the county. It is not private ownership. Inactive sites may be reopened for new proposals after a staff review, and transfers require a reviewed in-character succession, sale, or inheritance.

8. Game server access

Approval makes a character eligible to join the Build 41 server with a generated login key shown on your account page. The game server is operated separately and its rules also apply in-game. A suspension or ban issued for conduct applies to both the site and the server.

9. Moderation and appeals

Staff may issue warnings, kicks, temporary bans, or permanent bans, and may remove content. A ban recorded on the site automatically suspends game-server access, and lifting the ban restores that access immediately. Punishments and their stated reasons are recorded, and active ones are visible to you on your account page, where you can file an appeal against a standing ban. Reports naming another player, and appeals of your own bans, are filed and discussed on the site so there is a permanent record of what was decided and why.

10. Staff decisions

Character and charter reviews, Atlas and Ledger publishing, rank and permission changes, and server-access decisions are made at staff discretion under the Accord’s internal hierarchy rules.

11. Availability and “as is”

This is an unpaid, volunteer-run project provided as is, with no warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, that data will be preserved, or that the website or the game server will continue to exist. We may change, pause, or discontinue any part of it.

12. Termination

You may leave at any time and ask staff to delete your data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end your access for breaking these Terms or the community rules.

Project Zomboid is a trademark of The Indie Stone. This is an unofficial fan project with no affiliation or endorsement.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after a change means you accept it; material changes will be announced in the Discord.
